Every year a special day is set aside to bake and decorate all the gingerbread men
(& women & children, of course). Mrs. Claus & the elves decorate with candies & icing
until each ginger cookie is decorated JUST RIGHT! --
Santa chooses the VERY best gingerbread man. Then Santa blows a little Christmas magic dust
right onto him & what do you think happens?

What is a gingerbread man's favorite activity? It's to run! Yes,
they start running… & all of the elves run after them… & the reindeer jump into the fray.
But those little ginger people are quick as they can be… & before you know it… the little ginger
person has run over the hill.
Of course, we know where they go! Right to Ginger Town! It's a wonderful day of fun and laughter!

Waiting for Frosty
The elf children are so excited because Frosty the snowman is expected to arrive at any moment!
They have such a wonderful time because Frosty will run down to the village with his broomstick in
his hand. He runs here and there -- all around the square saying "Catch me if you can!" It is a
romp such as one rarely sees outside of the North Pole!
Workshop Disaster
This morning Santa's toy shop was absolutely topsy-turvy. Why you ask? Oh my! It was a frightful
sight!
Squeaky had come in from his job as lookout atop the North Pole to get a warm cup of hot cocoa. But... he forgot to wipe his feet! The snow fell off his boots and melted on the floor. Blinky was testing out the Christmas lights... and slipped in the melted snow! Blinky went flying... sliding right across the floor -- and into Grover who was painting the sail boats blue. Grover then went flying into little Pixie the elf, who was painting the dolls... but Grover's blue paint splashed all over the dolls so they ended up with blue splotches!
In the meantime, poor Blinky's lights started blinking so that HE looked like a Christmas tree! Of course, all of the elves pitched in to clean up the mess. And Bosco proclaimed blue polka dotted dolls the best creation of the month!

The reindeer barn is full of activity. The elves are brushing and grooming the reindeer.
Santa has proclaimed that all reindeer are to look top notch for the big night! The reindeer are fed
only the best apples, and carrots and oats with molasses.
Christmas Night's journey will severely tax even the strongest reindeer. It is hoped that there are
a good supply of children who will be leaving out an apple or a carrot (or even a little bowl of
breakfast cereal) for the reindeer on Christmas Eve! It is MOST important that the reindeer have snacks
along the way!

Christmas Is Coming!
Remember that Christmas magic is very special -- you can even feel it in the air.
So when you go out at night, stop for a minute. When you feel that breeze touch your face you'll
know that Christmas magic is very near!
Skating Party
Of course, all elves love play as much as they love work. This afternoon a lovely ice skating
party is planned! Spinner is out brushing and sweeping off all the snow from the great pond.
A grand bon fire will be blazing, marshmallows roasted and big mugs of hot cocoa ready to be sipped.
