The Spanish-Cuban-American War
by Jim Mellen
This page is dedicated to the Spanish-Cuban-American war of 1895-1898.
This page will hopefully help set the record straight regarding the war.
Endless propaganda from the United States has portrayed this war as a 'humanitarian'
war to 'free' the Cubans. In fact, the war was one of imperialistic
domination. This page will attempt to give a short readable description
of what really happened in the war, along with descriptions of the propaganda
spewed out and references pointing to books and articles if one wishes
further reading on the subject.
