How to Upload a Picture to a Yahoo Group

First, do you have a digital picture of yourself on your computer?
If so, you can follow my directions -- Steps 1 - 11

Arrows will be used to indicate something you need to "click on" or "write in"

Hearts will be placed beside directions you need to follow

1. Go to your group website:
for example...
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DS_Friends_Keshishian/

Messages
Pending
Post
Chat
Files
Photos

Bookmarks
Database
etc.

2. On your group website...find the menu on the left.
which looks something like the menu you see here on the left

Now single click on Photos

Home Messages Pending Post Chat Files Photos Bookmarks Database etc.	3. Find on your group webpage the words "Create Album" Single click on Create Album

1. Name Album

Please name this top-level album, which we call a collection. More Info

Photo Albums

4. Name your album -- maybe your name!

2. Share Album

Choose who can view the contents of this album. Please note that any albums created in this album will share this setting. You can change the sharing setting at any time.

	Group 5. Choose Group Any Group member can add photos & subalbums to this album
	Personal Only the Moderator and I can add photos & subalbums to this album
	Age Restriction Only allow people over 18 to view this folder More Info
	Order Restriction Don't allow others to order prints from this album More Info

6. Single

Click on Create Album

7. Now find your folder... and Single Click on it.

Locate and Name Your Photos

On your computer: (the total upload can be up to 5MB)

Photo 1:

Name:

9. Now single click on "Browse". A new window will pop up which will say in the upper left hand corner "Choose file". The trick here is to know where your photos are located on your computer. Let us just assume that they are in the traditional place for pictures. If so, double click on "My Documents" then double click on "My pictures". Hopefully from here you can find your pictures. Double click on the picture you want to upload to the group.

10. Now name your picture... i.e. "Elle before surgery"

11. Now, go to the bottom of the page

and click on "Upload"

You Did IT!
Go back to the photo page,
click on your album, and you will see your picture!
